To begin with “Lijinet” is a book about childhood written in a very modern, simplistic and personal manner. I have always heard that this book shares memories of childhood in Ethiopia, from many who read it, and that the short and beautiful age that most of us share and remember little of has been given a very fine touch from Zenebe Wela’s writing skill.
